Bernadette has solved many of the mysteries and confirmed some of the data I already held about our New Zealand relatives. Many thanks. She is now sending me some wills. How very kind

Bracknell Family History Fair

Visited the Bracknell Family History fair yesterday and met up with nine members of the Surrey and West London section of the Guild of One-name studies (GoONS) You may remember that last December I agreed to become their representative. Since then I have attempted to communicate by Email or post to everyone of the group and gather their ideas. It was great to meet and talk with those that attended, and I look very forward to meeting others on other occassions.

The fair was also great I talked with several very interesting stall holders and attended the talk given by Find my past about 1911 census and everything else they had to offer on their websites

Robert Featherstone Greathead family

Once again someone contacts me saying my grandfather was called Greathead .......

After a few exchanged Emails we have Percy who emigrated with his parents and siblings to Canada changing his name to Guy and later Grey and a whole new family emerges. Photographs of Percy and his wife Annie came whizzing across the pond. Now just need to bring the famiy totally up to date. Thanks Dan

Once again I never fail to be delighted and amazed at how people contact me out of the blue. Today Liz wrote to me and later telephoned and we chatted about our findings of her grandfather, Robert. She even sent me a photograph. Thak you so much Liz. Look forward to putting you in touch with other "live" members of your family
