Visit to TNA

I went with ther members of Cranleigh U3A group to TNA today. I spent time going through microfiche copies of the Excise Minute Books indexes CUST 47. I searched 30 July 1834 -16 December 1844 and found 13 entries for Greatheads. I only managed to look at 2 actual minute books, however next time I visit Kew I will look up the rest and maybe search through a few more microfiche. The two entries I searched were for Featherstone and Francis. Exciting to follow the careers of these two men
