Hilda Mary Curchin

Hilda has for a long time been a bit of a mystery. Despite my having some of her paintings I could not find her on many census returns. Her brother Henry I knew married Susannah and I found their family. Her sister Elizabeth married John Moore and I believe had a couple of children. The other sister Margaret was a complete mystery.

So with a bit of sideways thinking I have now found the family on some census returns and using the Gale Newspaper website I discovered that Hilda and Henry won many prizes in the local shows
