London Baptisms and Births

Strange. If I attempt to retrieve the London baptisms and births through the London Historical link on Ancestry I receive no data for any surname what so ever. I was not too peturbed to begin with as Ancestry had said that the entries were not all indexed and I had enough marriages and burials to keep me going for a while.

Then people on the GOONS mailing list kept saying how many they had found for their ONS. When I couldn't find theirs either I just did a complete search and guess what I now have 67 Greathead and variants to play with. Whoopee. Still don't understand what I was doing wrong but I got them in the end. Persistance eh!
