GRO Microfiche

Went to The National Archives (TNA) at Kew today expecting to be able to see the GRO microfiche to get my Births and Deaths 2007 to current times and the Marriages 2006 onwards.

Sadly they are no longer held at Kew. They sent their fiche to the London Metropolitan Archives (LMA) They told me that the Westminster Archives also hold copies of the microfiche

Fortunately I am still ploughing through the Excise indexes CUST 47 so I had plenty to do.
