Greathed Manor

The sun shone today so we decided to go for a ride and enjoy some of it before it disappeared. I had long wanted to see Greated Manor for myself, so we set off. It only took just over the hour.

What a magnificent house, I took a couple of pictures and returned home to look up more on the internet. More websites had appeared since last I searched and yes I now know why it was called Greathed Manor or rather renamed as such. The Country Houses Association changed the name of the house to Greathed Manor in memory of their founder, Rear Admiral Greathed.
