Greethead

I have just received an Email from a new contact. Jamie is the brother of someone with whom I corresponded for a while last year. They are descended from Robert Stephen Greethead and he sent me copies of his tree and narratives, the sources of some of the information is my website so I hope that information is correct :-)) He also quotes other sources so I must go through it carefully. Many thanks indeed Jamie, your research may well assist me in sorting out this branch. I am still convinced that since the earliest Greethead that both Jamie and I can find is from Bristol I am sure it is the Bristol accent that is responsible for the variant.
