Farnley Wood Plot

Gosh, many thanks to those who sent me details about the Farnley Wood Plot. There certainly seems to be quite a lot of speculation and almost legend about what really happened. When I get a chance I will attempt to pull all the details together.

One thing everybody seems certain about is that Joshua Greathead was a local squire and was responsible for the death of his cousin Thomas Oates and many other men.

Any further information will be gratefully received and added to my file. Maybe we might even find out who Joshua was?
