Treasure trove

At a visit to my brother's house yesterday, he gave me access to the family famous "black box". This contained many certificates most of which I had bought over the years obtained copies at £7 each except for a death certificate for Richard William Tunley who died on 3 November 1938. Ooops I had him dying in 1902. I will have to look into why I accepted what someone told me. His daughter Ellen registered the death, so I know I have the correct Richard.

I also discovered that my Grandad blonged to the Freemason Lodge called Beach Lodge No 2622 so am attempting to discover more about this
