West Surrey Family History Fair

I attended the West Surrey Family History Society Fair today and had a very interesting time talking with like minded people.

I discussed with some members of the Hampshire FHS about where I might find details of the fire in Portsmouth in 1878 when the theatre and Frederick Tilly's soap factory in Gunwharf Road were lost.

I also obtained a book about Worksop, we have a branch who lived there and I knew nothing about the area.
