I got two emails yesterday about a banner at the exhibition giving details of Samuel Greethead and his time in St Kitts.
How did I miss it on Friday. Just had to go back and see for myself.
Thanks Bob and Maurice for thinking about me, very grateful

Researchers around the world
I have had many thoughts recently, here are a few
Would those who follow the Greathead site welcome a Greathead society (inexpensive annual cost) with a quarterly newsletter?
Maybe I could encourage a Greathead Representative to come forward to assist me in research certain areas of the world, local to them?
Maybe someone might like to take up the DNA banner and get the ball rolling on the Greathead DNA project?
Please tell me what your thoughts are?

Eton College
Had a great afternoon visiting the Eton College library today where I inspected the Eton registers and several other documents found for me by the archivist. Will attempt to put everything on the database by the end of the month.
Maybe one more visit in due course

Guys Cliffe
Today I visited Guys Cliffe in Warwickshire. It was one of the houses opening for Heritage weekend. I have been communicating with the Chairman of the Friends of Guys Cliffe and met him today.
I will before the end of the month create a page with some information and pictures about Samuel Greatheed's home

TNA Visit
Yesterday I spent the day at TNA with my fellow Cranleigh U3A members.
I was delighted to find a letter dated 3 March 1792 from John Eden requesting for mercy on behalf of Margaret Greathead a prisoner convicted at the March 1792 Durham Quarter Sessions and sentenced to transportation.
I also found letters and reports about grants of land to Craister Greathead in the Leeward Island in 1753-5
