Coming of age

When one reaches the grand old age of 60 I think it is acceptable to indulge oneself a little. So here is a picture of my children and grandchildren who all got together last Saturday to celebrate my becoming a pensioner today. We had a fantastic day

Unidentified Greathead picture

Great news back in contact with Gayle. She has produced a photograph of what she believes to be one of Ernest Greatheads brothers. Either Robert or Walter. If that is the case I am missing a wife for Robert and details of their children. For Walter and his wife I only have details of three sons, this photograph clearly shows two sons and two daughters and another child. So just who are the family, does anyone know. Gayle and I would love to know

Please help

Robert and James Frederick Greethead

I have just received an Email with some amazing attachments.

Eric sent to me copies of James Frederick Greathead known as Leotard Bosco's burial card. This is just one quarter of the card.
Also he sent me a copy of the Oath of Burgess for Robert Greethead dated 1812
Thank you so much Eric, I look forward to attempting to find a link between our two families

Alfred Louis Greathead

Jennifer wrote to me saying her family were all asleep, but she was wide awake. Boy was I pleased she sent me two pages of details about the family of Alfred Louis and Rose Emma (née Hurd) Greathead. I now have much better details of their ten children.

Thank you so much, all will has been included in my personal database and the website update will include certain parts of this information. Remember narratives for "live" people do not appear on the website.

When I was investigating the passenger lists on www.findmypast.com/ I discovered that Robert set off bound for Quebec in Canada leaving Liverpool on 29 May 1912 aboard the Steamship Corsican. Sarah travelled with their son Alfred on 17 October 1912 for Quebec in Canada on the same ship. More details can be found on the website update due end of July

Good night Jennifer, sleeptight
