Olympic village
Went on a U3A trip to the Olympic village today. Just wondered whether we had any Olympians within our Greathead clan or great athletes.
Anyone know?

Visit to St George in the East Church
Today I went on a Society of Genealogists walk around Wapping which included a visit to St George in the East Parish Church. This was the church Thomas Greathead and his family would have worshiped in.
I will add some pictures and information about the Church to the website on the next update.

Do look at Recent updates for all the amended and new narratives
Details of further research following questions posed to me has been added, taking families further back and sometimes linking them. Sadly not linking any charts but one day.............
Still searching for some men to take the DNA test to discover more, how about you?

Useful website
It was suggested I might find the website Spensleys of Yorkshire useful. Wow spent rather too long this afternoon but discovered many pictures of graves of interest including some unknown children. All will be revealed in the updated website later in the month. Thanks Andy for pointing me to the website. If you have relys in the Dales do look at the site.
