Birmingham parish records

I have collected lots of Birmingham Parish Records from the Ancestry website and added to database.  These will be included in next update

Website updated 1 September 2013

Website updated today ready for tomorrow.  Sadly the search by ID is not working, will try to sort out soon.  You can still search by name.

Not as much done this month as I was whisked off to hospital on 12 August by ambulance.  Ten days later I was released minus my gall bladder and a few nasty stones.  I wanted to have the stones as a souvenier but they said NO.  Not very friendly eh.  Never been in hospital before so it was quite an experience, not to be repeated in a hurry.

Hope you find something of real interest this month

Congratulation and welcome to a new Greathead

Welcome to little Lucia Anne Elizabeth Greathead born to Jane and Johnathan on 15 August.  Congratulations to all three of you.  See chart 14

Thanks to Edwin

My grateful thanks to Edwin for sending me a copy of The Magic Circular the Magic Circle's magasine.  He had written a magnificent article in the August edition about Leotard Bosco, our very own James Frederick Greethead.

I was able to assist him with some of the information and he very kindly gave me a mention.

You did Leotard proud Edwin.  Thank you

Congratulations

I am beginning to get quite an strong affinity with our William and Kate.

I organised a Greathead gathering in 2011 and they decided to get married the day before.

Tomorrow is my birthday and today Kate gave birth to a baby boy. Congratulations to all three of them.

The next Greathead gathering is due for 14 June 2014.  I wonder what occassion they will choose to celebrate on 13 June 2014?  Spooky eh
